In this case study, a road-rage incident between two drivers resulted in the death of one of the drivers and a first-degree murder charge that was brought against the other. Security cameras and Tesla video from one of the vehicles involved captured the incident. However, due to their constrained positions and fields of view, they only recorded portions of the incident. Evidence contained in videos like these when viewed in isolation can be overlooked and misinterpreted. In this case, video synchronization and three-dimensional analysis provided the triers of fact with additional information for reaching a verdict at trial.
