Garrett Winslow

Garrett W. Winslow is a Special Agent with the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation' Northeastern District. Agent Winslow is a Field Agent but specializes in crime scene investigation. where he is responsible for the documentation and processing of crime scenes and the collection and preservation of physical evidence. He has over sixteen years of progressive law enforcement and forensic experience, including prior service as a Detective with the Camden County Sheriff’s Office and as a Lieutenant with the Gates County Sheriff’s Office, where he established and implemented the county’s first Crime Scene/Forensic Unit.

Agent Winslow earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Campbell University and holds multiple professional certifications, including Certified Senior Crime Scene Analyst (International Association for Identification, 2025), Advanced Law Enforcement Certification, and Criminal Investigator Certification through the North Carolina Justice Academy. He is also a certified General Instructor with the North Carolina Criminal Justice Standards Division.
