Adam was born and raised in Southern California’s Ventura County. He attended California Lutheran University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. After college Adam initially worked in child psychology with emotionally disturbed youth in Camarillo CA. Adam then joined the Oxnard Police Department in 2005. During his time at Oxnard Adam met his wife, Sarah, who was from and lived in the Sacramento Region of California. Adam ended up moving to Northern California and transferred to a department in the area. Adam ultimately ended up at the Folsom Police Department and has been a police officer for 16 years total. While at the Folsom Police Department Adam was a training officer, Crisis Negotiator, started the drone unit and trained new members, and motorcycle officer. A majority of his time in law enforcement, Adam specialized in Collision Reconstruction and forensic mapping where he was lucky to be introduced to FARO’s equipment. For several years Adam used the FARO S scanner and software to investigate multiple fatal collisions and several homicide cases. Adam was the go to person within the Folsom Police Department when it came to anything related to forensic mapping and the application of the FARO scanner and software. In the Sacramento Region Adam began to help other agencies troubleshoot, perfect the use of 3D scanners, mapping and presentation for trial, needed in criminal court.
