Workshop (2 hours)

Walnut

February 26, 2026

1:00 PM

This class provides a comprehensive introduction to using Pix4D’s photogrammetry solutions to accurately document and map crime scenes in both indoor and outdoor environments. Designed for law enforcement, forensic investigators, and public safety professionals, the course demonstrates how to capture, process, and analyze high-precision 2D and 3D data for scene reconstruction, analysis, and courtroom presentation.

Participants will learn best practices for data capture using drones and mobile devices, ensuring accurate results in a variety of scenarios. From large outdoor scenes to confined indoor spaces. The class covers the complete Pix4D workflow, from planning and acquisition to processing and delivering measurable outputs such as scaled maps, orthomosaics, point clouds, and 3D models.

By the end of the class, attendees will understand how Pix4D can improve scene documentation accuracy, reduce time on scene, enhance officer safety, and provide defensible, court-ready visuals for investigations.
