Forensic 360 Photography and Crime Scene Reconstruction Using CSI360

Workshop (2 hours)

Walnut

February 26, 2026

3:15 PM

This 2-hour workshop introduces forensic professionals to the evolving role of digital photography and 360° panoramic imaging in crime scene reconstruction. By merging established photographic principles with emerging immersive imaging tools, the workshop demonstrates how 360° documentation can improve reconstruction accuracy, reduce interpretive ambiguity, and enhance the clarity of investigative and courtroom communication. This session directly supports the 2026 theme, “Redefining Crime Scene Reconstruction: Merging Traditional Expertise with 3D Innovation,” by showing how immersive imaging practices complement, not replace, traditional reconstruction techniques.
